The translation is full of Britishisms. I wonder what was the original Japanese terms or saying before British localization.

I noticed this too, The more recent translation seems to be riddled with other quirks as well.

I haven’t read the Nick Bradley translation if Volume 1 yet. I sm looking forward to the comparison.
