I don’t know how many people come around to believing Isa (AS) after he establishes the truth that there is One God because after his death people can go back to disbelief etc and then the last Hour is established and that is how it has gone for previous nations when messengers have come to them, it says he establishes that there is one God on earth, does it mean the entirety of the earth? Or some, or just establishes it and some believe and some don’t? And then finally qiyamah comes after he’s gone? It would mean that if this is the case, then all signs before it will not be absolutely enough for all people to believe which means it could be symbolic and a red herring at the time like the way true dreams are. In that dreams happen, you see the exact same dream, but the symbolic meaning is something you come to understand later. But my concern is that the signs will not make everyone believe until perhaps Isa (AS) establishes that there is one God because dajjal is saying that he is God and to follow him but we don’t even know if it’s fully believed on earth. So.. if people don’t fully believe and some of the signs are so obvious that if it happens, people would have to say there is one God, say Euphrates both in bible and we believe it in Islam, it’s such an obvious sign that if it happens it will be so undeniable right you’d think? Makes me wonder has it already happened? But people didn’t know? Or is it symbolic. Euphrates is a river of jannah, it dries up, it uncovers a mountain of gold, people compete each thinking they’ll be saved but they die. If this happened today it would be so obvious and grab headlines and people would believe but we wait for Isa (AS) to establish that there is one God.. which means it must be more symbolic because some of the other signs could be seen as a progression of life whereas this is so unique that it would be hard to deny God.. my feeling is it’s symbolic. Euphrates is a river of jannah, it dries up. It uncovers a mountain of gold - what if a situation uncovers a mountain of gold, people take from it and think they will be saved but they die? Whoever is near it should not take from it. As in don’t take from the situation, don’t benefit. Im getting a bad feeling. A few signs have been symbolic. I’m not saying this will definitely be it but it isn’t until Isa (AS) arrives and establishes one God that it becomes more undeniable perhaps and even then we don’t know if it everyone who comes around or he just establishes there is one God until he dies and then the remainder of the people are left awaiting the last Hour and it’s said it all happens all at once from dajjal, Isa (AS) to the day of resurrection.
