I really hate other women drama. Yes, yes this is arranged and basically business between Jasmina and Callahan but he’s also doing that annoying I can do what I want but you can’t thing. And the other woman thing is beyond irritating. So far, this book isn’t living up to the first one at all. We’ll see.

He invites another woman to their home to sleep with her because - checks notes - he’s jealous she’s having dinner with her bodyguard??? Also acted like it was in response to this but HE invited the OW BEFORE she invited her bodyguard to dinner. So total BS excuse. Nope. Nope. Nope. Do not like the MMC at all. Rules are once they touch all other women are off limits.

Also so far I really don’t like Jasmina. I’m trying to but I really do not. There’s stubborn and then there’s irritating. She’s delved far into irritating for me. Perhaps it gets better or rather she does.

So pretty well cemented early on that this will be a genuine enemies to lovers story. I loved Jameson so much from the first story (and Archer!). Not sure how I feel about the new main characters in this story yet.
