I'm glad the story didn't stay quite as dark as it started. Drizzt's disgust with the Drow darkness helps alleviate the evil. Now he and Zaknafein need to actually talk to each other. 12-yo and I are both still really enjoying it. I predit we will enjoy future volumes even more.

Reading this with my 12 yo who is obsessed with Dungeons and Dragons. He read the Drizzt encyclopedia style book that came out recently, and wanted to go back and read the stories. So far the world of the Drow is quite dark, but he finds it really interesting and wants to continue. We'll see how far into the 33 book series we get lol.
