We’re basically doing a chapter a night. The real action hasn’t started yet, but we’re having fun and my daughter is still excited to read it every night. This isn’t a long book per se, I could probably finish it in an afternoon, but this bit introducing the Grand High Witch and the plan is boring.

When my daughter was two we bought her a collection of Roald Dahl books. It’s like a whole box set of like 15. This is one of them.
I also suggested James and the Giant Peach. She wanted this one. Perfect for Halloween.
She really liked The BFG when we read it years ago. Here’s hoping this isn’t too scary. We stopped after the chapter that said witches can’t get you in your bed when you sleep.
