Goddamn these are dark. Horrifying on multiple levels, and reminding me why I used toto love short stories and make me wonder why I don’t read them much anymore. So good.

Meet Cute #1: The Unluckiest Girl - LITERALLY SHOCKINGLY GOOD. Like… how am I listening to this story, maybe a little bored, but envisioning the scene at the bar, conversation going on… and then the last line hits. And keeps fucking hitting. And the story gets better the more you think about it after it’s over. Amazing.
