I’ve really gotten into this book now. It’s very YA buts it’s a very nice break from Lightbringer which just makes me feel depressed despite the name. I’m not a huge fan of the main character but she’s more bearable and I’m a lot more invested in the plot. It’s a fun easy read.

Not sure how I feel about this yet. YA so always a bit hit and miss but I’m trying to get through the growing number of books on my physical tbr. The mc is not a typical mc and does some questionable things at the start. The writing and characters feel a bit surface level but I am finding myself wanting to read more so we’ll see how it goes.
