I’ll give it three stars for now and if I read the second book I’ll readjust.

It was also interesting that the curse wasn’t broken and also Grace can’t break it anymore because she’s a vampire now. Maybe Cora is still working on it?

All in all it was a solid book but I feel like something’s missing. Some depth or this spark between the main characters or something. I’m between three and four stars.

I liked Cora and maybe I’ll read the next book which is her story. The twist with Elias resenting Sebastian and kidnapping Grace was good.

It was a fun idea with Grace being this cute blondie who watches rom-coms and all an Sebastian being a broody vampire. Unfortunatelly, I feel like the author didn’t really use their full potential. It was fun but I missed depth.

"If a guy has blond hair, that basically means he's either going to be the bad guy or in the friendzone. Sometimes both."
"I have blond hair," I say.
Grace laughs so hard she snorts.
"Exactly," she says.
"So I'm a red flag?"
"Sebastian, you are a red billboard."

The setup sounds interesting.
