I thought reading Liam’s POV and seeing his brotherhood with Xaden—knowing everything that went down in Fourth Wing—would be the most painful part. But then I hit Sloane's chapter. Goodness, her rage and grief are literally palpable, jumping right off the page. My heart hurts for her so much 💔

If chapter one had me tearing up, Xaden's POV literally made me sob. I would happily read the entire series all over again from his perspective. His bonding with Sgaeyl? Chills. And the amount of easter eggs Rebecca hid here is just pure joy.

“He will live with my decision, and I suspect one day I’ll have to live with his.” ...WHAT DO YOU MEAN SGAEYL?? I have SO many questions!

I didn't expect to tear up in chapter one already! Really enjoyed reading Brennan's POV. Getting all those details about the dragon bonding process, why a specific dragon chose someone, and picking up on the signets riders manifested adds so much depth. The Sorrengail family dynamics are a huge highlight too. I would LOVE a peek into their family life before everything went down. More novellas, maybe? Pleeeeease!!
