They finally did the deed and I still don’t understand why they were so nervous about things changing. Yet on the other hand, just a little halfway through the book so something may just go wrong

I see why Ch 12 is “Eyes On Me” because whew 😥 had me feeling like I was in the room with them. Mason can give me the magical ⭕️ any day of the week 🙂‍↕️
Also “Not as beautiful as you” like sir. Stop being perfect.

I have not been this invested in a book since Sara Cate’s The Daddy’s Girl and all I can say is I adore friends to lovers now. I adore men who yearn and pine for the affection of one woman but will keep things platonic for the sake of the friendship.

I adore Mason Alexander Carter, my book boyfriend as of now. Step aside, Willa. You have competition.

They’re just stupid together, even if it’s fake. They have all the elements for a relationship. And their banter?

If she doesn’t go for Mason then I will.

I really feel for Willa. Constantly chasing after her family’s approval and validation when she won’t get it. I’m happy she stood up for herself, but Mason is such a good guy and loves her so much that if Willa’s mom says something to her in front of him that’s out of line, he will flip his sh*t.

Can’t wait to see them become a couple though ☺️

They’re actually so cute together idc if they’re faking it. They’re gonna be such a cute couple once they get together. The way that Mason shows up for Willa, it truly speaks volume to his character.
