This book has some of the darkest scenes I've ever read, the story's pretty heavy there's a lot going on,coltaine's chain of dogs and kalams journey are really cool, going into the book i thought it was more like medival fantasy but reading of Warren's,the difference races and the path of hands is interesting. I'm finding felisin and kulps stories harder to follow though,I think I'm suffering for not reading book one

Reads like a song of ice and fire,I've read chapters from a few different characters perspectives and they seem cool, the lore and terminology is a little overwhelming though but I've just started the book.
