ugh. i was very excited about this book bc ive always loved dogs and wolves and was curious to read about all of the canids…. but this book is definitely intended as a field guide for identifying species and not really something to just read. It’s painfully boring and repetitive.

I appreciate having the subspecies but wish that they’d just been added to the end of the listing for the main species.May DNF
