read 100+ pages in the last three hours b/c this book is written conversationally. there was clearly no editor b/c there are repeated adjectives and homonym mistakes. it also feels completely nonsensical and like she was asleep while writing b/c there’s no attention to detail. this is a book that one is meant to skim but that does mean it’s easy to digest

perhaps the worst writing i’ve ever read which is saying a lot from this summer. there is no flow to sentences, but i can’t say it’s the direct style because that implies intention/skill. she writes like a 6th grader and i guess the concepts are on that level too. jesus.
