*sigh* I WANT TO LIKE THIS BOOK. I can tell underneath all the purple prose and repetitive descriptions that I would absolutely love this damn story. I am just so distracted with all of the dramatic metaphors and repeated words. There is such beautiful and poetic writing that I find hard to appreciate because of all of this 😭
