Models every doll after her dead daughter. Claudia wants Louis to make Madeline a vampire so she can look after her (as she needs an adult around her to live her life after all) and madeline wants a child who won’t die. Louis agrees and makes Madeline a vampire.

One of the older female vampires is intimidated and jealous of her beauty. He tells Louis to think beware whenever he is around another vampire to I guess make him viewed less as weak.

Anyhow Claudia, still pissed she’s a child and still wanting Louis to herself (Louis thinks she won’t share with Armand not Armand won’t share with her) has brought Madeline back to their lodgings. She owns a doll shop and

Louis meets with Armand again. Armand tells him to avoid the other vampires as they see him as weak for denying his vampire nature, and also question why he and Claudia are not with the vampire who created them. Also judging him for having Claudia as she’s far too young to be a vampire. She has no time to develop human nature and therefore just has vampire nature and an impression of human nature learn from Louis

All of Europe and she’s found them and hates them. Great 🤧
Claudia tells Louis armand was in her mind telling her she should die, set him free from her. She said he takes the life from her in to himself. And that he loves Louis, and wants Louis for himself.

So is Louis gay? I’m so confused. Mind you all this is said while Claudia and him are kissing so STILL confused about them.

Where multiple vampires on stage actually drain a real woman on stage while everyone mortal in the audience thinks it’s all an act. Then after they go downstairs to the vampires quarters. (Very long boring and weird passage where no one talks) when armand introduces himself. He’s 400 years old. Santiago is the vampire who mocked Louis. The women tell Claudia she should wear black. They all wear black, and dye

Anyhow in Paris they argue and Louis walks the streets, before long he realises he is being followed and it’s another vampire. Not the mindless ones of Eastern Europe. This one mimics him and they fight, another vampire appears and fights the other vampire and gives Louis a card for ‘the vampire club’ to bring Claudia too, tomorrow night before disappearing in to the night. They go and watch a ‘play’

They go to Paris where Claudia is once again moody with Louis over the fact she’s grown up mentally but forever a child. She asks him about making love.
Ngl sometimes the way he kisses her and they tell each other they love her I wasn’t really sure if they were making love but I guess he’s not really attracted to her 5 year old body. But the writing towards her is quite romanticly inclined so figures…

To think and plan and still feel. Claudia thinks perhaps because these people are considered dead, and then buried, only digging out of their graves once their hunger has driven them to it that is why they’re mindless? As Claudia and Louis were fed by lestat on the day of being turned and never buried and left as dead.
Louis begins to regret killing lestat again.

I just want to be done.

Claudia and Louis get on the ship and it sets sail no issue, in Europe they find a village where they have found a vampire, they go to the ruins where the villagers say the vampires live, to find a mindless creature focused on the kill. It attacks Louis and he ends up killing it. All the other vampires they find across Europe are the same.
They wonder how lestat created them so differently

Lamp at him, engulfing him in flames, they grapple. Claudia is fighting the musician vampire. She defeats him, Louis grabs Claudia and runs down the stairs out of the fire, and in to the night. The towns people have become alert to the fire, entering the house to help but he runs past them.

Part 2 - I am still quite bored. Just hasn’t got a flow to it.
