The boy that Louis is telling the story to, begs to be changed. Louis is angered like HAS MY STORY TAUGHT YOU NOTHING but the boy insists that Louis as an immortal has forgotten mortal life and how cool what he is, is. Louis drains the boy, knocking him out, and leaves (to where I don’t know) but the boy wakes up and rewinds the tape to the description of Louis following the young vampire to lestats and heads off

Towards him. He can’t get any feelings out of Louis. He asks Louis if he is done with him and Louis replies he is. Louis notices Armand walking away from him but doesn’t realise he is LEAVING for real when he doesn’t come back to his coffin that night or the night after. Eventually Louis moves but brings armands coffin with him. Eventually he smashes it up and leaves it in the sun. At the end of his story

With lestat who apologises for his part in Claudia’s death and speaks of missing the days when they were a three. Lestats new vampire slave begs to be free and asks Louis of other vampires. Louis doesn’t really have a time of day for him. He tells Armand months later he saw lestat and revenge is that he is killing himself. Armand admits it was he who killed Claudia and Madeline and still Louis is dispassionate

They go back to New Orleans and reveals that lestat is still alive as he never slept at the theatre. In New Orleans Louis notices a young vampire and watches him for a new days until he kills a woman and takes her baby to a run down house, lestat is there. The house is shabby and dead animal remains are all over, lestat is living from animals, he doesn’t leave the house, he is dying (but not really). Louis talks

Success! Finished. Finally.

So they travel around but Louis is dead inside and miserable as he’s always been, hating his human nature and so much stuff about god/the devil/sin/mortality. And Armand is dragged down a bit by this so although they move areas together they don’t spend all that much time together. Other vampires leave them alone as the fire in Paris news spread amongst them. Armand suggests

Louis and Armand are together now as they wanted to be. Armand is not pissed that Louis killed all the vampires. And they’re leaving Paris for Egypt cause Louis wants to see the mummies and eat grave robbers 💀🤣

He sets fire to the theatre and leaves through his secret door in to the carriage away from the scene. He goes back later to listen to the gossip, no humans were killed in the fire; but Santiago said they had human guards looking after the theatre during the day. Later he meets with Armand who tells him that he told the staff they were not needed as he didn’t want them to die for no reason. Fair!

Part 5!!! Just finish already 😭😭😭

Louis warns Armand not to stay at the theatre. He hires a carriage and goes to the theatre at dawn. He knows the vampires will be downstairs getting in their coffins for the day time. He barricades the doors and enters through a secret door Armand gave him the key to prior to Claudia’s death. He enters the theatre and douses everything in kerosene

In the main theatre he finds the main vampires and lestat, lestat is holding a yellow dress and begins apologising to Louis. In the yard there are the burnt figures of Claudia and Madeline. Louis goes a bit crazy and Armand gets him out of there.


So close to being done I am so bloody bored

She said she will know where Louis is should she need him. Louis said he should’ve known something was amiss, but he didn’t. The other vampires come in and take him Claudia and Madeline back to the theatre. Louis fights but is no match. He keeps hoping Armand will show up and save them as he has some power over these vampires. However back at the theatre they’re confronted with lestat. He wants Louis back.
