@EnchantedEva then I fear for your mental health when you read the sequels. I didn’t cry writing this one, but I cried just plotting out the last one

I think it’ll definitely happen with WTAL though because I wrote that book while going to pretty bad depression so it has ✨trauma✨ in it

@Eva, I was so confused trying to figure out what title acronym for a sec before it clicked 😂 Who doesn't love some good trauma in books?

How do y’all come up with such cool long titles? I lean toward one-word titles except for ASSD

I wish I could come up with shorter titles! I just get these phrases stuck in my head, and I want to explain so much about the story in multiple words. I actually came up with TTWAWIB before my space opera, lol.

@Keira the fact that I just said the whole title reading that acronym 😭 (Well that’s because you’ve actually shared the title with me hehe)

That’s how ASSD started! I made this super techi, sci-fi cover and just slapped ASSD on it and then suddenly the plot came to me (with the help of an Elvis Presley song and my love of the Netflix series Minecraft: Story Mode)

@Emily, yep. I had this phrase stuck in my head, and so I googled it to see if I was remembering it from a book or a song or something (and then Google asked if I needed help #authorproblems), and ANYWAY, a space opera idea eventually took shape. I really need to have a title reveal soon here. Okay, but ASSD is a phenomenal title. So are both of yours, Eva!!!

@Emily I would be SHOCKED if someone who I haven’t shared the title with could guess it🤣

@Eva, I'm honestly so excited for you to share your titles with everyone because I love them so much! And it means a lot to me that you like TTWAWIB! I was terrified that people wouldn't. I told myself I get to do a title reveal when I finish writing my space opera, so we'll see if everyone likes it!

@Sadie Thorne if it makes you feel any better, the title of my first book was “Sara and the Goblin in the Attic” and the mermaid one I was convinced I’d publish was “A Mermaid’s Tail” and the MG summer one I wrote was called “A Summer Adventure”
It’s very rare if I come up with catchy, original titles

@Sadie, I literally have no idea what I'm going to name my books until it just lands on the page. I have to come up with like five different versions, too. I think I have an issue with coming up with titles that are a little too original.

Plus, who knows, my space opera title might only make sense to me and sound absolutely whack to everyone else. We shall see whenever I reveal the title

@Sadie and to further my point my literary fiction series was originally called “What Happened In Amber Valley” bc the town used to be called Amber Valley and stuff happened there. Obvs it’s changed but that’s a more recent example. The Bloodline Saga also used to be called War of Hearts, but before that it was The Chosen Saga, and Grimalka’s sequel used to be Dragon King, then it was Rebel Princess, and now it’s undecided
