I feel like everyone is being very unfair to Pashov, by the way. Like, dude had a head injury and is now suffering from memory loss for the last few years of his life. Dude is missing all his memories of his mate and his child and his fucking home is gone too, and now they’re traveling for days on end? A lot has changed for the Sa-Khui since the first book. And literally no one is sympathetic. I gotchu Pashov.
