As someone who's dealt with chronic passive, and occasional active, SI, and believes in autonomy over one's own life, but has also had to make safety plans with one's care team... I'm not sure I've ever been asked this particular question? It's definitely an informed one, and one I'd probably honestly answer "probably not" to. Or at least "it would depend on how serious I was".

Okay, we definitely need more books where the couple is just sharing a space in silence. Also, Tristan's "bored at Dad's office" energy is the best.

Granted Tristan is supposed to have a Boston accent, and I think Kip is supposed to have an NYC or NJ accent, but both Alexander Cendese and Max Meyers would have made much better Kips than Tor Thom. Although there was an interview I was too anxious to watch where apparently his accents in Game Changers weren't actually his fault, but the fuakt of bad direction?

Either way, I still dream of an eventual re-recording.

I like how, unlike Bad Bishop or what I've listened to of God of Ruin, this book actually seems like its author actually understands ASL as its own language - maybe studied it or is a CODA. It brings up ASL slang, words that would be fingerspelled because most people wouldn't know the actual sign, etc...

When I suddenly realize "Oh, hey, *this* is Alexander Cendese." I mean, I already knew he was in this, but for some stupid reason I thought it was Max Meyers (who I'm not familiar with) putting on this NYC-esque accent, but then the timbre clicks with me, and I'm just like" Oh, fucking DUH!"
