the chaser: really good/5. deserves a reread. it all flies by so quickly. maybe it’s some “male-brained” fight club lover in me that was shocked at the intricacy in this short story, but it’s such a good use of unreliable narration, and the similarities between IYFALO and “detransition, baby” fall apart in such an enchanting way.

infect your friends and loved ones: 3.5/5. needs some sauce but it was a good read (heh). you can really feel peters’s trademark trans satire.
