the perspective switched to Quinn and now hes at a block party and hes talking wants to talk to someone who also saw what happened at the store

A video of the attack has made it to the news and they keep playing the video over and over again. Rashad brother sent the video to the news along with a photo of him so they can control the narative of what happened

Quinn witnessed another fight with police there, and he noticed how nice the police where treating the white people that they were arresting which made him has flashbacks to what happened when he say the other main character get attacked by the police officer

Quinn got yelled at by his mother saying that she needs help rasing his yonger brother because his fauther isn't around. So Quinn goes to his brother soccer game and watches him play and he realizes that he wants to be the brother that shows up for his brother.

Right now hes still stuck in the hospital and his brothers girlfriend is trying to find things online like a recording or a person who saw the whole thing but she cant find anything.

Hes in the hospital and his parents have come to visit him. He told the story of what happened and his dad doesnt believe him because if he dresses like a drug dealer then the cops are going to treat him like a drug dealer. Then his brother comes in and is told the story and he gets really mad on how they are treated

Quinn was that the corner store and witnessed the who thing go down and he ran away with some of his friends. Then it switched to Rashads POV and how hes in the hospital

Its Quinns perspective and right now hes trying to get someone to buy beer for him and his friends so they can enjoy their last friday before they go back to school. While at the store they see a cop push the other main character out the door and thats where i stopped reading

One of the main characters is being beat up because an older woman tripped over him and then he opened his bag and it looked like he was stealing so a cop is beating him up. Now it switched a new perspective.
