see what's funny is i really don't even like this book all that much but some things do still get to me

genuinely i forgot a) how much happens in this book good lord it's like the archive undying levels of what if we had a climax before the halfway point in the book b) the absolute nonsense of the pacing but also how genuinely brilliant it is in this book specifically the rest of the series kinda fumbles it but it works so well here and c) how exhausting it is to read/listen to

oh the secondhand embarrassment from this book is bad bad. w a y worse in audio than text which is kind of a shame bc the audiobook is quite good but u know. i'll make it

oh i really love carter i forgot how much i love carter. brothersong is going to ruin me all over again

fuckkkkkkkkk

oh i remember how i ended up so charmed by this book the first time. i also remember why i stuck this series out to the end

Don’t look at me. I needed an audiobook I didn’t want or need to pay attention to to fall asleep
