ETD’s Reviews > Summer Sons > Status Update

The fucking paragraphs of analysis I could write about Sam and his behavior during the fire night I swear to god. There’s sooooo much going on there (and Andrew misses at least 95% of it)

It is actually obscene how good the writing in this book is. What the hell man

oh andrew you are so bad at this. i know probably half of my status updates ever on this book just say some variation of that phrase but god that's it that's the book. andrew you are so bad at this

oh trouble,

I’ve decided my beef with West is entirely because of how he treats Riley. Do not fucking Touch my boy he’s Perfect. Get Fucked Asshole

Wow it is just gonna hit every fucking time huh. And somehow I love Sam even more! What a fucking fantastic character goddamn

The difference between the beginning of this and of The Foxhole Court are absolutely astounding

Oh I just adore Riley so much

I will give my friends this, the beginning of the book is tough. It is a little agonizing to watch Andrew be Andrew without anyone but Del to bounce off of but the second Riley appears shit gets moving

i fear this is going to be my coping book this trauma season which is in some ways better than it being Murderbot again (won't be getting the very direct validation for the mental illness loop i get trapped in which is probably a good thing) but in others worse (i don't know how it's gonna go when i don't have several books to cycle through)
