I’m currently in limbo with this book. I’m struggling with the prose. It’s very nonsensically wordy. I have been taken out of the book a few times and scratched my head. “It is beautiful yes- but it’s the kind of beauty that watches you back.” What? Like what are you even trying to say here? Are we trying to be mysterious?
