Hope M’s Reviews > Summa Domestica: Order and Wonder in Family Life Vol. 1 - Home Culture > Status Update

"Everyone is in a state of high anxiety, simply because people can't find a place in life to settle and be at peace when equality is their main criterion. I propose that there are not stereotypes... but givens, real ones. Just as geometry can't proceed without givens, life without givens will be endlessly questioned rather than lived" (21).
I am so excited for this book!
