I’m starting to think this Howard Hughes guy wasn’t a very good person.

Pretty rad this one has a whole subplot about Not-Disneyland

“He deems the Frankenstein tag appropriate: tennis racket strings were found at all five crime scenes, and the third victim had darning-needle holes in his armpits. Exley concludes that the fiend is recreating children with stitching and a knife; he begins hauling in deviates, cranks, looney bin parolees. He wonders what the killer will do for a face—and learns a week later.”

I’m probably going into overtime with this one but it’s still crazy compelling.
