Also, ugh! I hate being so busy! T^T haven't had much of a chance to read. :(

I'm dying. They're so funny!
He fished out his money pouch and carefully counted out a small pile of silver.
"Three taels and two dimes," he said, thrusting the money toward ZZS. "The three taels is to pay back my debt. I'm topping it with two dimes so that you'll sell yourself to me as well. I swear I'll take good care of you. Great wine and food for every meal. And you won't get chased by assassins, either.

Damn! The translation I have is shit! I'm going to have to put this on hold while I make a PDF of the better translation I found. The translators of this pg did not make their website easy for an amateur like me. It's going to take me hours and hours. 😢

I prefer this type of bickering over the bickering in Peerless. Because WKX and ZZS are not mean to each other and genuinely help each other. Whereas in Peerless, FX was such an ass!
I also like the idioms. Wow, Priest knows her dry humor 😂 thank god for human translators! The foot notes are so helpful.
I love how shameless WKX is! 🤣
If We Wuxian was a top, it'd be Wen Kexing. Lol 😂
