OMG they just met their son from the future

No the Colonel doesn't have marijuana at his table, the UK call a potted plant a pot plant

Also don't worry he'll tie up every plot thread he started

Once again Fforde immediately addresses this sudden burst of misogyny as a way for her to get away from her kidnappers but still

Considering Thursday has a decidedly traditionally masculine personality it's nice to see some small amount of vulnerability here at the very end

I am legitimately confused about how we're getting details of what happened after the book considering Rochester was telling us how it worked earlier, maybe I wasn't paying enough attention?

Oh. I just had a sneaking suspicion about Hades, and every time I bitch about something Fforde has a response to it

It is exceedingly annoying that Hades abilities are not explained, not their extent or their origin

Fforde shows an almost complete lack of interest in Bertha so far despite there being a whole novel inspired by her

Mr Fforde is not known for his beautifully written sensory details, but you think he could have tried harder once she was inside the book
