Loving this book drinking in the history & travelogue. A stormy Sunday with a glass of wine. An odd sense of wanderlust arose but was doused by guilt over relatives who were deportees to Siberia and my old age.

Picking this up again. What a difference the new reading glasses make. I love reading Ian Frazier, his style of story telling puts the pleasure into reading for pleasure.
