Wow, finally a bit interesting now… it’s been a fine story, rather a nice, funny, easy read. It’s growing on me.

Still a bit slow, but now she doesn’t show up for lunch… I feel breadcrumbed a little with pages of nothingness, then a little mystery…

Finally, chapter 13, they move into the house; finally something happens. Small, but at least a little concerning. Exactly half way through… could have come sooner but oh well.

Finally picked up and enjoying learning about the characters. I also got used to the protagonist’s voice and thinking. Excited to se where it goes, and finally get to the mystical, scary vibe.

Not quite feeling the vibe of this book. The protagonist is in his head aloof, waiting for the story to hook me.
