Y'all. The part with the beetles and the male and his whatchamacallit and the female and her own whatchas - they had a scientific name and I'm listening to the audiobook where the spellings are lost on me, but - OMG. 😂😂😂

Mason is a writer like none other. Total entertainment.

Donna Everhart is 70% done

Our house is either 120 years old or 115, (there is a question of when it was actually built) and while it's nowhere as old as the house in the ctr. of this story, when I look at the marks, stains, and dents left behind on the floors and walls, I can't help but wonder about those who lived here before us.

And learning about each of the inhabitants of the yellow house is only part of what makes this story SO GOOD.

Absolutely loving this book.

Today, while on my walk and listening, I LOLed so hard I scared a kettle of crows from the pines. That's not to say this is a funny book, but that part sure was. If you've read it - it's the part with Anastasia and Mrs. Farnsworth. (IYKYK) 😉😂
