I did review this book but I also just use it like a personal journal and you know what that’s OK bc maybe I just needed to get that out
Bc what the actual fuck do you mean that man told me we were just friendly
And sure we weren’t fooling around, but you don’t think it was anything we’re still talking about it four years later and you’re gonna tell me it was just “friendly” What the fuck?

Because if you wanna be around, you can be around but keep it cute. Keep it respectful because you’re gonna be disrespectful. You don’t have to be around me. You know who I am You know how I live. You don’t have to like you don’t have to agree with it, but I didn’t do anything wrong. This is just the luck that I have because this is the life that my parents were able to provide for me Don’t be ugly to me

Bryson was so fucking wrong taking out his anger on Evie saying that she’s a person just like the rest of them and she’ll never understand and just because she can take a break from work. Basically she thinks she’s better than people or like she can’t understand the struggles of other people have just because he feels insecure.
He needs to work on that himself and don’t ever speak to her like that again

Evie’s trifiling mother tells her she can’t believe that Evie ended her engagement over something so small as a woman that probably didn’t even mean anything to him

I obviously don’t mean anything to him bc if he’s willing to go out of his way and disrespect me be inconsiderate and not care how it affects me he don’t care about her + he also doesn’t care anything about me

it’s not that he even has to he doesnt have to take that drive every week every month he doesn’t have to ever but he doesn’t sound like hes suggesting that he will so why say anything that even sounds like you might, putting something out there like a well maybe knowing damn well youre not anout to do shit and I dont know that, maybe he really wants to, but he’s not saying it so I have to fill in the blanks

To which I said, I understand but right now I’m immobile so I can’t do anything
He replied I understand that, but we can figure out something for the future
Which slightly sounds helpful, but also is saying absolutely nothing at all
I said my part the only way that we can see each other. Is you getting your fucking car and move and you’re not saying you’re doing that so you’re saying nothing

And I said something and he was like in what way and I was like I want you to be my man right and he was like oh well we should think about how we’re gonna see each other before we even consider a relationship and I was like I feel like I got shut down and he was like no you didn’t get shut down. I’m saying we need to figure out how we’re going to see each other

She’s telling him something about she doesn’t know she’s ready for that and he said we can find an in between
Whatever is between being friends and wearing matching outfits to Sunday brunch
And I think that man is trying to find something with me because we were talking the other day and he said we just need to work out seeing each other

Bryson made a joke that Connor suggested that they may get married even though that’s not quite where they’re at even though they have been flirting with each other again
And then he was like dang sorry did I make it weird
It says on second thought let’s get married. You sit riding with my family.
And that’s how my man talk to me that’s how he flirts with me. I’m mad at him right now, but I do miss him
