I am biased because I don’t love first person narratives. A lot of the book feels trapped in her internal world and dialogue rather than meaningful progression. She’s trying to solve the murder but really I feel like she’s making dumb decisions and being on the run.

Ya def one of those books where the plot wouldn't work without her being kind of impulsive
