I imagine some people think they, especially Effy, are annoying. But I think they are just so utterly human.
And I don’t feel like I read such flawed, odd, struggling-in-daily-life people, and I can respect that choice.
In the first book, I really just chose to ignore what was not so great and I was able to still enjoy it lol.
I kinda wish they were going back to Hiraeth tho. I love the architecture concept.
