58% in and i still haven’t got a clue who the killer is. Also this Annie is stupid or what? She said the threat that Frances had was written by Frances herself? And somehow Frances had amnesia that she was the one who wrote it and shocked by the threat?

Yep. Still no clue who the killer might be. For both cases.
I’d be so MAD if the killer wasn’t that involved and have no history with Frances.
Also this Annie is sometimes so stupid but other times so smart. She has 2 personality. Which is annoying.
In the beginning of the book she’s annoying, then she’s better and I started to like her. But now she’s annoying again for the last quarter of the book.

Fucking Ford is a fucking rake. Kinda wished he was traumatized by women or that he was infertile that Emily’s baby cannot possibly be his. But they did have sex and that ruins it all for me. I liked Ford before.

Motive: He wanted the inheritance because it was his uncle’s in the first place. But Frances has it because she was the widow and she thought it was hers and then inherit it to her side of family.
Doubt: still don’t know whether Frances is rich to begin with or not. Or maybe her husband only has the mansion but the rest was hers.
