Delusion for a Dragonslayer — if I had a dollar for every time the book tells a story of a misogynist, EA perpetrating man realizes what an asshole he is, I'd have three dollars. Which, for a book containing only like six stories, is a whole lot of dollars. Like, okay I get your point. At this point it feels like it's just looking for excuses to write SA scenes 😐

Writing has been fun though

Lonelyache. It was an interesting character study. But between this, the title story, and World of the Myth, the book really has at it at portraying asshole men that I couldn't help but wonder if the writer is just misogynistic lol. But World of the Myth and Lonelyache were conscious enough of just what assholes the male characters are that I'd let it slide.

If this book uses "erect" once more for "standing up" I swear to God...

Also, Harlan Ellison has an interesting way to describe physically attractive male characters lol.

Anyway. World of the Myth. I liked how it changes writing style for effect. And between this and IHNMAIMS, the writer really knows how to write insufferable men... And women who deal with SA weirdly? Idk if this is realistic or just male fantasy.
