oh my GOD. that actually gave me chills. wow. I LOVE when I get jump scares from books. it just shows how skilled an author really is

I already LOVE this. I watched the trailer for "Other Mommy"which is based on this book (I didn't know until I read the comments lol) and have heard great things so I decided to try it. I didn't expect to be pulled in so quickly. The narration from the child's point of view is not only a great choice, but the actual writing itself is very representative of how an actual child would think and talk. I'm impressed.
