Robert Day’s Reviews > Tolstoy > Status Update

Read a whole chapter to the wife. She was charmed at first and then bites at last.

Only another couple of hundred pages to go and Tolstoy is fine (for). I don't guess I enjoy seeing the decline of people.

I looked up what happened to Tolstoy's family in the Russian Revolution and what I found surprised me!

This is actually quite a magnificent book.

Get better, Tolstoy.

Bonkers?

You know, if you watch a weird sci-fi movie just before reading this book, it makes Tolstoy seem really strange.

Then he finds God! This is quite an amazing guy all-in-all.

Same with Anna Karenina.

If you haven't read War and Peace then don't tead the chapter of the same name in this book because there are spoilers.
