This one gave me an actual nightmare. This terrifying and saddening yet incredibly empowering and well-written memoir really exposes the pain and discomfort that is triggered by other people’s ‘gloating’ - whether it be about their children, their partners, their financial situation - when you are struggling with (one of) these yourself. You never know what the person standing in front of you is dealing with.
