this book is like if an emily st. john mandel novel and a coco mellors novel came together and had a baby that is really messy and has unlikable and complicated characters in a really crazy end of the world futuristic situation, and i think there might be a weird magic cult thing going? hard to say? i don’t know if i like it but i need to know what happens
