every author wants to “move past” trigger warnings and leave it to a bunch of readers to create databases of whatever might be in the book but this is proof why this doesn’t work as a solution…

i’ve been on 3 sites before even starting this book

1 of 3 had a tw for racism the other 2 didn’t

mind you none had a warning for slavery or slave catching/hunting

racism is too broad of a trigger warning

i feel bad bc i can’t stop laughing but… nothing is funny 😭

it is truly baffling that no one gives a crap that darlington is gone…

like he dedicated his life to that school and that club and all anyone can say is “stop looking he’s gone”

can’t even blame alex for being crazy bc at this point she’s the only one who cares about where he is (besides dawes ofc)
