I take them off when I read. they're just there to be pretty
I flatten them and put them on my wall sometimes
I draw notes on the actual hard copy 😉 iykyk

The actual cover of the hardback is usually really ugly so I keep the dust jacket and try not to lose it and just take it off when I read
