In the home stretch now. Yep, the most enjoyable part of this novel is the totally nutcake brothers who world for HM Government. Amos especially could be a Medici or a Visconti for as meticulously and criminally crazed as he is.

I hate to say this, but this very early Herron is rather bland and boring. The main character (not Zoe) is that sort of oatmeal middle class woman who can be a real cow at times but mostly is flat beige wallpaper. The only real sparkle comes with the government spooks running a special op...but they haven't appeared too much yet.

Valerie Book Valkyrie Hey Berengaria! I made the Indonesian pasta recipe (heavy on the ginger) you gave me a few days ago and am eating it right now ദ്ദി(≧ڡ≦*), very yummy!
I used chickpea pasta to up the protein content a bit 💪.
Thanks so much for the directions to this fast. easy, & very yummy culinary concoction 💛.

Oh, I'm glad you enjoyed it and you now have somewhere to use that ginger other than in smoothies! I'd NEVER have thought of putting peanut butter with pasta, but it does work well, doesn't it? I was surprised how easy and low-budget the recipe is, too.

Well, we can both thank the REWE supermarket people for enhancing our diets! 😁🍝
