I thoroughly enjoyed this and I read it very quickly. As always I think the timeline was too short and the age gap was ambiguous. But I did enjoy their connection and the story. I think the third act breakup was done a little poorly but I do get it for the story. I kinda wish we got more of charlottes wit bc it was shown throughout the other books better than in hers I’d say

I still loved the book tho and had a fun time reading. I liked the spy and mystery aspect bc I don’t really think Tessa Dare has gone that direction before. I’m sad to see this universe ending but it’s been such a good set of series. 4 stars.
