'He was halfway in love with her'. Ugh. I feel like this book started in the wrong spot. This couple has had exactly one scene together. One. And now he's halfway in love with her? It's not instalove, they've known each other 2 years but we've been shown none of that. Just told a whole lot of back story. I wish this story had started two years earlier when they first met.

There's an awful lot of 'tell' happening in the beginning of this book. We're obviously being dumped in the middle of a story, and these characters already have a history with each other. It's a bit of a back story info dump. I can't help wishing we'd gotten to 'see' some of these things we're being 'told' about cos they sound really interesting!

Prologue has me hooked! First line had me hooked actually! Great beginning, hope the rest is just as amazing 😊
