every author wants to “move past” trigger warnings and leave it to a bunch of readers to create databases of whatever might be in the book but this is proof why this doesn’t work as a solution…

i’ve been on 3 sites before even starting this book

1 of 3 had a tw for racism the other 2 didn’t

mind you none had a warning for slavery or slave catching/hunting

racism is too broad of a trigger warning

i feel bad bc i can’t stop laughing but… nothing is funny 😭
