Oh God I was giddy waiting in anticipation of this and now it’s happened and I’m so sad. This was way more heartbreaking than I remember.

Ugh - Nesta pouring her heart out to Cassian at Solstice, after he gives her his gift of music. Heart breaking to hear her thoughts spoken out loud.

Dare I say this is my favorite book in the series 🫢 I love book 2 so much, it’s hard to say for certain, but I think this is the case…or given my current life situation, this is hitting hard and I am besotted with it.

Gah! I totally forgot about chapter 42’s happenings. I love that storyline - Nesta accidentally creating 3 swords of power. Rhys refusing to wield them and become High King - Amren: “nothing is a fluke…[the cauldron] It wanted those weapons Made, and thus they were Made…but know that the Cauldron’s benevolence will be extended to you only for a so long before it is offered to another.”
