Chapter 17 was Keira’s first journal entry. It feels like she is just writing for Sovereign.. her house just burnt down. Her horses are lost to the mountains. Her husband died mere months ago, she’s young and has just gotten out of an abusive relationship only to end up living under another man’s thumb. And she has nothing to say in her journal about it?? Also SO many grammar errors throughout the book.

8 chapters in and I have to say, I’m worried 😀 …I’m not liking the writing so far.. poor writing style and language (not that I’m an expert) and the story line is kind of boring. The start of the book was more intriguing… I hope we get a deeper delve in to Keira and Sovereigns pasts and struggles.
