It's one of very few books I've read twice. It's so sombre and chilling
Sombre and chilling is a perfect way of describing the atmosphere. This is my first Anne Rice, and I’m really impressed. Most authors who specialize in atmosphere tend to be more style than substance, but I feel this story moving along at a great pace.
