I am not very familiar with Mesopotamian mythology so this book was a revelation on several fronts. I would’ve liked a forward or afterward to explain what was known, or not known about the dieties, but it was still a very entertaining listen. There are multiple narrators and some with similar names so you have to be on your toes.
